High-Temperature Resistant Conveying Project Case | Riyadh Iron Mine, Saudi Arabia
Project Scenario: Aggregate conveying line at an iron mine in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Conveying distance: approx. 800 meters. Daily throughput: 5,000 tons. Long-term exposure to high temperatures and strong sandstorms.
Project Pain Points: Local summer daily temperatures reach 42-50°C, with surface temperatures up to 65°C. Ordinary conveyor belts age rapidly under high heat and sand abrasion, frequently developing cracks and delamination, leading to frequent maintenance shutdowns and disrupted production continuity.
Our Solution: Customized high-temperature resistant conveyor belt, featuring EP400 formula and special rubber compound rated for 65°C, with thickened wear-resistant layer and enhanced belt toughness to withstand harsh sandstorm conditions.
Project Results: Stable operation for over 2 years, with only 2 routine maintenance sessions. Zero unplanned shutdowns caused by high temperature or wear. Operation and maintenance costs reduced by approximately 50% compared to previous setup.
Supporting Product: Custom high-temperature and abrasion-resistant conveyor belt , engineered for desert high-temperature applications.
